Resin Bound Aggregate Driveway
Resin Driveway Dublin
We completed a resin bound aggregate driveway recently in Dublin. The client had a brick paving driveway for over 15 years and it was in a bad state of disrepair. It had become very uneven and there was lots of grass growing up through the joints.
The entire job consisted of lifting the existing brick surface and disposing of it. We then had to regulate the ground and roll it ready for tarmac. We then layed a 14mm base coat tarmac at a depth of 70mm. We left the tarmac 18mm low ready for the resin.
As a rule we like to leave it around 10 days before we lay the resin bound aggregate. So once the 10 days was up our crew returned and we layed the resin. The resin we use is always a UV stable resin. The stone was a silver granite stone and its one of the most popular in our range.
